4,000 Without Power Thursday Morning In Morris County, JCPL Says
High winds and heavy rain knocked out power for thousands of Morris residents, who are still waiting to be restored Thursday morning.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A storm system moving through New Jersey on Wednesday knocked out electricity for more than 4,000 customers in Morris County, who are still without power as of Thursday morning.
The Jersey City Power and Light outage map shows 4,087 customers are still in the dark as of 9:10 a.m. Thursday, close to 2 percent of the customers in the county.
The majority of the outages are in Mount Olive (782) Jefferson Township (633) Rockaway Township (614), Roxbury Township (519), and Washington Township (448). Estimated restoration times for these towns have not been posted yet.

- Chatham Twp: Thursday at 11 a.m.
- East Hanover Twp: Thursday at 1 p.m.

- Hanover Twp: Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
- Harding Twp: Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
- Lincoln Park Borough: Thursday at noon
- Montville Twp: Thursday at 3 p.m.
- Morris Township: Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
- Morristown: Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
- Mountain Lakes Borough: Thursday at 6 p.m.
- Parsippany Twp: Thursday at 3 p.m.
