$585K-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Morris County

A Morris County resident just hit the jackpot — scoring a big win with a ticket purchased through the Jackpocket app.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County lottery player’s week just got a major boost — they won a $585,900 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, New Jersey Lottery officials said.

The New Jersey Lottery announced this week that a ticket sold in Morris County matched all five numbers to win the $585,900 jackpot. The lucky ticket was purchased through the third-party app Jackpocket, which will receive a $2,000 bonus for the sale.

The winning numbers were 15, 26, 30, 34 and 42. The XTRA number was 03, and the Bullseye number was 26.

Lottery officials also said 19 other players matched four numbers and the Bullseye to win $500 each, while one player matched four numbers with both the Bullseye and XTRA to win $1,000.

This marks the 25th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot of the year.

Jersey Cash 5 is a daily draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players select five numbers between 1 and 45 and can add XTRA for a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye option also gives players an additional chance to win.
