94-Year-Old Morristown Medical Center Volunteer Honored For Work

Irene Fortunato has given the hospital over 29,000 hours of volunteer time to a local hospital.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ — A 94-year-old Florham Park resident has been honored for her dedication and volunteer efforts for Morristown Medical Center.

Irene Fortunato was warded the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for her work at the hospital, where she had performed a number of different volunteer services. She now works handling flower delivery and ditrobutions.

Fortunato has been volunteering with the hospital for 20 years. The lifetime award required volunteers to log at least 4,00 hours; Fortunato has logged over 29,000.
