Auditions For Morristown’s Talent Showcase Coming Soon
Two finalists will be given a $1,000 prize each following the fundraiser talent show.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — An annual event that not only showcases local talent but also does so for a good cause, is returning to Morristown soon.
Auditions for the ONSTAGE showcase will be underway soon, and a talented bunch will be selected as finalists to perform at the showcase come February.
Organized by the Morris Educational Foundation, the program will benefit the Morris School District, and the winner of the showcase can win $1,000.

Auditions will be held on Dec. 13 and will be held at Morristown High School. The contest is open to those who “live, work, worship, receive talent training, or attend school in Morristown, Morris Township, and Morris Plains, as well as alumni of Morristown High School.”
Those looking to audition for the show must register online here by Monday, and registration costs $20. Only 16 finalists will be selected to perform in the show.

The show itself will be held on Feb. 24 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center. As a reminder, all performances must be a maximum of four minutes long. The show is open to all types of stage talent, including singing, playing music, comedy routines, dancing, and more.
Two winners will be selected at the end of the show, and each will be awarded a $1,000 prize.
