Australian Pink Floyd Show Brings Psychedelic Music To Morristown

Founded in 1988, this tribute show replicates the vision and sound from every phase of Pink Floyd's journey. They'll perform on June 19.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Shine on, you crazy diamonds — A popular Pink Floyd tribute group is bringing their theatrical live show to Morristown.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show, or TAPFS, started playing small gigs in Adelaide back in 1988. They have since become an international hit, selling over four million tickets worldwide and dazzling audiences with a light and laser show, LED screens, and other technology — as well as giant inflatables.

The band is made up of members from Australia, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States, including former Pink Floyd touring band member Lorelei McBroom. Her sister Durga McBroom has also provided backing vocals for the band.

Pink Floyd members David Gilmour (guitar) and Rick Wright (co-founder; keyboards) have joined TAPFS on stage in the past, the group said; they also performed at Gilmour's 50th birthday party.

TAPFS is on a North American tour in 2024, and teased that they will perform a song they've never done before during this run.
