Get the professional skills and know-how to start your career today.

The Morris County Vocational School District offers a range of Share Time Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs through half-day, specialized training. Motivated students ready for a different path to post-secondary options and professional employment may be part of the Share Time Program during junior and senior year of high school.
Share Time Programs provide students with a hands-on learning experience for a variety of career interests such as Auto Service Technology, Cybersecurity & Information Protection, Culinary Arts, Exercise Science, Plumbing and Pipefitting and Welding Technologies. Hands-on learning in classrooms recreate real working environments that help students to understand the fundamentals of their area of study. Students learn from instructors that share real world experience with them. Courses are designed to prepare students to work in their chosen field. Successful completion of classwork may lead to students earning industry certifications, professional licensing and making professional contacts.
Students attend classes half days at their home district to fulfill New Jersey high school graduation requirements, then attend Share Time classes at one of the Morris County Vocational School District sites. Transportation is provided by the student’s home school district. Tuition is free.
