Cocaine, Marijuana Seized, Man Charged In Morris Co. Drug Bust

A Hanover Township man was charged with possession and distribution offenses after drugs were found in a probe, prosecutors say.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — An investigation around Morris County yielded more than five pounds of marijuana and a variety of charges for a Hanover man suspected of dealing, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

A Morris County Narcotics Task Force investigation targeting a Hanover Township man resulted in the seizure of over $51,000 in cash, more than one-half ounces of suspected cocaine and over five pounds of marijuana.

The seizure occurred on Dec. 8, the same day Anthony Dello-Russo, 27, was charged, according to agencies throughout the county, including Hanover Township Police Chief Michael Loock.

As a result of this investigation, Dello-Russo has been charged with second-degree possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute; third-degree possession of cocaine; second-degree possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute; third-degree possession of marijuana; and third-degree money laundering.

Under the Criminal Justice Reform Act, Dello-Russo will be kept detained in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending his first appearance.
