The Barstool founder stopped at a Morristown pizzeria this weekend for one of his famous reviews (no sightings of his dog, Miss Peaches).

MORRISTOWN, NJ — It didn't take long for Coniglio's Old Fashioned to pick up a big following in the Morristown area, and now Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy will put it on the national map with his "One Bite" pizza reviews.

Portnoy made his way to the pizzeria and Italian eatery this weekend, and the buzz on social media indicates that Coniglio's was well-rated at an 8.3 out of 10. The official "One Bite" review video has not aired as of Tuesday; Portnoy rates pizzas based on their taste, style, presentation, crispiness, and more.

Coniglio's Old Fashioned is located at 11 South Street in Morristown. The pizza shop opened late last year with tremendous enthusiasm from the community, with lines forming before the pizzeria opened its doors.

Co- owner Nino Coniglio is a world-renowned pizzaiolo with over ten awards as a US and World Champion Pizza Maker. He and his wife Shealyn, also a co-owner, posted a photo with Portnoy on Sunday outside their restaurant (and noted their daughter Penny slept through the excitement).

Coniglio owns several pizzerias in his native Brooklyn, New York and has also been named a Food Network "Chopped" Champion.

Portnoy has visited numerous New Jersey pizza shops, and did a multi-restaurant run in Morris County several years ago. During his Morristown visit, "El Presidente" didn't appear to have his rescue dog, Miss Peaches, at his side — though she was adorning his hat and sweatshirt. The pit bull mix has become an Internet sensation as Portnoy highlights her life of luxury.

Coniglio's won the title of "Best Pizza in NJ" in the third annual Pizza Bowl, only two months after it opened, showcasing its popularity throughout the community.

The restaurant was also in the news late last year after calling off an appearance by New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito due to a fee dispute with DeVito's then-manager. But, the New Jersey native stopped by Coniglio's of his own free will to make amends.
