MORRISTOWN, NJ - The remnants of Debby will impact our region on Friday, bringing potential for tornadoes, damaging winds, and flooding across the entire area, the National Weather Service said.

Currently, three alerts are in place for the area: a tornado watch, flood watch, and a wind advisory.

Thunderstorms are expected from 10 to 11 a.m., with rain and drizzling happening throughout the remainder of the day.

A tornado watch is in effect for the county until 10 p.m. Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, heavy rainfall associated with Debby will produce about one to two inches of rain. Three inches of rain or more is also possible.

Over 800 people in the county are out of power. According to JCP&L, there are no outages in Morristown.
