MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Morristown Fire Bureau is looking for interested applicants to join their team and serve the community. The Morristown Department of Public Safety released a post on Facebook with information about becoming a firefighter. The deadline to apply for the NJ civil service exam is Sept. 3.
They are offering a wide range of benefits, such as competitive salary, medical and dental plans, PFRS pension plans, and opportunities for career advancement.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- US Citizen
- Morristown resident by closing date of application
- 18-34 years of age by the closing date of application
- High school graduate or equivalency certificate
- Possess a valid NJ driver’s license
