Never drive on flooded roads, police are warning.

MORRIS, NJ — Heavy rains Friday morning have closed some Morris Township roads, police said.

Washington Valley Road and Whitehead Road are closed as of 10:40 a.m. for flooding. "For your safety do not try and pass," police warned, urging residents to take another route.

The rain is supposed to continue overnight, with thunderstorms possible. The skies should clear up by Saturday morning.
