‘Fore’ The Force: Police Golf Outing Returns To Long Valley

The outing will benefit the Washington Township Police Benevolent Association Local 301.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Police Benevolent Association (PBA) Local 301 has announced the return of its annual golf outing.

The outing, slated for August 11, is played at the Black Oak Golf Club at 169 Bartley Road in Long Valley. All residents and visitors are welcome to register and attend.

The price to participate in the round is $200 per golfer. Proceeds will go toward the Washington Township PBA, a local non-profit organization.

“Don’t miss one of the best golf events of the summer,” a PBA statement read. “Whether you're coming with a full foursome or just looking to join the fun, this is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a day on the course while supporting your local PBA.”

Registration comes with a full 18 holes of golf, breakfast, a post-round BBQ lunch, beverages on the course, raffle prizes, hole prizes, and a 50/50 drawing. Participants can also expect “great company, great cause, and a great time.”

Breakfast starts at 8 a.m., with a shotgun tee-off at 9 a.m.

Black Oak Golf Club is a 350-acre club with a Championship Golf Course that stretches more than 7,000 yards from the championship tees. The private course also offers “multiple tees designed for various skill levels.”
