Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

She goes above and beyond for all of her patients everyday. She manages a covid 19 floor with 49 beds but always goes to work with a smile and a positive attitude. Her husband is a state trooper and has that same positive attitude. They have a 5 month old baby which they have to juggle their very busy schedules to take care of . I had been the babysitter up until covid 19 but they don’t want to have me exposed to either of them. In her spare time, Kimberly looks for items online that companies are donating for the hospital. You have no idea how a donated mask, or lunch or hand sanitizer can boost the moral of a hospital worker. One story about Kimberly is so endearing. An elderly covid patient was trying to call his daughter and having a problem trying to figure out how to use his phone. Kimberly noticed his struggle during one of the worse days on the floor. She took the time out and found an iPad to use so this gentleman could face time with his daughter. He was so very thankful. The next day he passed away. That FaceTime was the last contact he had with any of his family. Kimberly told me she was so happy she took the time during the craziness of the day to help him.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:

She gives of herself wholeheartedly to her job, her patients and her family
