MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A fuel spill on Interstate 287 in Morris County has prompted commuting delays on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The spill is located on the northbound side just north of Exit 39—NJ 10 near Hanover Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

"A non-hazardous liquid has been spilled in the left shoulder," the New Jersey Department of Transportation said.

Two left lanes of four lanes are currently closed, and motorists are warned to expect delays in the surrounding areas, the agency added.
