Harlem Wizards Come to Morris Museum Thursday

The Taco Truck's outdoor dining area is on Thursday's Morristown Planning Board meeting agenda

On the agenda for Thursday’s Morristown Planning Board meeting is The Taco Truck’s proposed outdoor dining area. It will measure 576 square feet. 

For more information about The Taco Truck, go to this Patch article. The planning board meets on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at town hall. The Taco Truck is opening next to the 7-eleven at the corner of Morris and Spring streets.

Head over to MPAC tonight for ‘Yes.’ English progressive rock legends Yes performs three classic albums in their entirety: The Yes Album,Close to the Edge and Going for the One, according to MPAC. 

In addition to regular tickets, there’s a limited meet and greet package for $275 that includes one golden circle seat, exclusive meet and greet with photo, tour t-shirt, poster, signed cd, laminate and set of guitar picks. There’s also limited VIP packages for $150 that includes one premium ticket, tour t-shirt, poster, signed cd, laminate and set of guitar picks.

Have kids? At the Morris County Library, there are a few events going on today:

At 10 a.m. there’s story time for preschoolers, ages 2-5.

At the Morristown-Morris Township Library, there’s Craft Time for Grades 3 to 6 at 2:45 p.m. Stretch your kids’ creativity this summer and make a craft to take home. All supplies will be provided. This activity is sponsored by The Friends of the Library. It runs every Thursday from July 11 – Aug. 8

Also, the Harlem Wizards will be at the Morris Museum’s Children’s Theater at 11 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. today.

“With basketball foolery and skills, the Wizards push the envelope on fun, through comedy, athleticism, tricks, fancy teamwork and ball-handling wizardry for the fans of all ages,” said the Morris Museum.
