Here's When Pastrami House Deli Has Its Grand Opening In Morristown
Pastrami and latkes, please! The delicatessen, which is already open in Morristown, is offering free samples at an upcoming celebration.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — "Where's the beef?" For Morris County fans of Pastrami House Delicatessen, that answer was once "across county lines." But now, the Kosher-style deli has set up shop on Speedwell Avenue in Morristown.
Pastrami House will be giving away free samples on Saturday, May 11 and has a ribbon-cutting ceremony with town officials scheduled for 1 p.m. at the deli, 82 Speedwell Avenue, Morristown NJ. All are invited to attend and celebrate their new store.
And for those who can't wait until May 11, this location is already open and accepting orders.

Pastrami House offers traditional New York Jewish deli fare, including loaded sandwiches with corned beef, pastrami, turkey, roast beef, cheese, coleslaw, and dressing on rye, white bread, or a sub roll, as well as knishes and sweet and regular potato pancakes.
The eatery also offers an array of soups, salads, and sides, including chicken noodle soup, mac salad, sour pickles and more. Appetizers include fries with pastrami and cheese, pierogi, and fried pickles.

There are breakfast offerings such as eggs sandwiches, omelettes, and bagels, and also desserts and beverages— including the iconic New York egg cream.
Pastrami House took the place of Sandi's Soulbites, a beloved family-style restaurant that closed its doors following months of internal staffing issues after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hours at the Morristown location are: From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
