Tokyo Olympics To Feature Morristown's Nic Fink: How To Watch

MORRISTOWN, NJ — It won't be long before Morristown native Nic Fink gets his first crack at the Olympics in Tokyo. Here's how to watch.

Fink qualified for the 200-meter breaststroke. He will participate in Heat 5, which begins at 6:53 a.m. Eastern Time. The top 16 finishers in the preliminary rounds will make it to the semifinals, which air at 10:21 p.m. Tuesday.

Then the top eight from the semis advance to the finals, which is set for 9:44 p.m. Wednesday, according to olympics.com.

In 2o10 and 2011, Fink was selected as New Jersey's High School Swimmer of the Year while attending The Pingry School. He became the Southeastern Conference Male Swimmer of the Year in 2014 with the University of Georgia.

Fink qualified at the Olympic trials with a time of 2:07.55 in the 200 breaststroke. He will swim alongside teammate Andrew Wilson.

Fink, 28, is the oldest Olympic rookie on this year's U.S. swimming team. He and Wilson have represented the United States at eight combined international competitions.
