Lunchtime Tango Show at Morristown Green Today

Grab a bite from one of the nearby local restaurants and head over to Morristown Green for lunch today. There will be a free concert Featuring Argentine dancers from the Dreams Performing Center at 12:30 p.m.

"With a style that’s high speed, musically precise, and exploding with energy, incredibly fast foot work and jaw-dropping lifts, skilled Argentine dancers showcase the dynamic, sensual and unique styles of tango.  Bring your dancing shoes," according to the Patch event listing. 

This is part of the fourth annual Music Beyond Borders free summer outdoor lunchtime concert series on the Morristown Green, hosted by the Mayo Performing Arts Center and Morris Arts. The series runs from June 25 - Aug. 6 every other Tuesday and they all start at 12:30 pm. The rain site is Morristown United Methodist Church.

Also, head over to the Morris Museum if you have a little one. There will be the Children's Theatre's 'Puss in High Tops' by Flying Ship Productions. The 11 a.m. showing is sold out, but there's another one at 1:30 p.m. today.

"Follow the adventures of a hip, street-wise cat, whose smooth talking wins favor with the King and outwits a treacherous ogre. Discover how loyalty, intellect, and friendship can conquer evil and selfishness," according to Morris Museum.  Here's a look at admission prices:

Later this evening, have fun and get fit with Zumba Fitness ‘Party Yourself into Shape.’ It’s at 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the Woman’s Club of Morristown and of the $10 entrance fee, a portion of it will benefit evening social services. At the Morristown-Morris Township Library, there’s Pre-School Craft Story Time for the young ones at 10 a.m. today. Come listen to some stories and make a simple craft to take home. All supplies are provided and the event is sponsored by The Friends of the Library.

There’s also a book sale from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and all sales benefit the library. The sale runs from June 18 – Dec. 17 every Tuesday.
