Man Found Pants-less After Breaking into Morristown Business, Cops Say

He broke into First Choice Motors on Morris Street on March 15, according to police reports.

Police report that a man broke into a Morristown business and was discovered with no pants, as reported by NJ.com.

The burglar alarm went off around 2 p.m. March 15 at First Choice Motors at 95 Morris St. and when police arrived to the office, they found Jeffrey Persinger, 33, of Norfolk, Va., on the phone and not wearing pants, nj.com reports.

NJ.com writes that police officers found Persinger's pants, “in which he had urinated, in a Demaio Concepts office." Persinger told the officers he was extremely drunk and didn't know how he got into the building. He was too intoxicated to be processed at the Morristown Police Department, according to the report.

Persinger was given summonses for defiant trespassing and given a court date, the report said. He was released from custody, but remained under the care of the hospital, the report said.
