Man Sexually Assaulted Girl In Morris County Town: Prosecutor
Officials say the 32-year-old Tennessee resident "performed multiple sexual acts" with a child in Morris County; he faces multiple charges.
DOVER, NJ — A Tennessee man faces charges of aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment, after officials say he sexually assaulted an underage girl in Morris County.
Rony Oviedo-Buezo, 32, is accused of performing "multiple sexual acts" with the child in Dover, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said on Thursday.
Authorities charged Oviedo-Buezo with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, one count each of second-degree sexual assault and second-degree attempted aggravated sexual assault, and two second-degree counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Nashville Police arrested him before extraditing him to New Jersey, officials said. He is detained in the Morris County Correctional Facility ahead of future court proceedings.
“The incidents remain under investigation and no further information will be released at this time,” officials said.

Officials ask anyone who might have more information about the case to call the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Sex Crimes Child Endangerment Unit at 973-285-6200.
The prosecutor's office said several law enforcement agencies participated in the investigation, including Town of Dover Police and the Metro Nashville Police Department.
