Mayor: Power Should Return to Neighborhoods Near Hospital Tuesday
Some may lose power briefly as repairs continue.

If you live in the area around and your power has been restored, you might go back into the dark sometime Tuesday afternoon.
But, don't worry, it shouldn't be for long.
Mayor Tim Dougherty said at about 2 p.m. Tuesday that JCP&L crews were working in that area to restore those still without power as a result of Saturday's snowstorm. During the repairs, some lines would likely be shut down briefly. Once they are finished, power to Hill Street, Revere Road and surrounding areas should finally be back on, the mayor said.

Dougherty and Morristown Police Department Captain Steven Sarinelli were out walking door-to-door in the Manahan Village and Beverly Apartments complexes Tuesday afternoon to check on residents that still are without power. The mayor said JCP&L, which provided an update shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday, could not provide a timeframe on when that area would get their electricity back.
"They're working feverishly on this," he said.
