MHS XC Teams Advance to Meet of Champions

It took 14 years to repeat, but on Saturday, Nov. 19, both boys and girls cross country teams from Morristown High School will head to Holmdel in Monmouth County, to compete in the .

Here is the scoop, from Patch reader Carol Bourland:

Saturday, November 12th: Morristown High School girl's cross country team took first place in state Group 3 championships today (they were ranked 17th in the state prior to today). Morristown High's boys cross country team took second place in state Group 3 championships today in Holmdel, NJ. This is the first time that this has happened since 1997. Both advance to the coveted Meet of Champions in Holmdel next Saturday, where they will compete among the top 20 teams in the state.
