Miracle Project Founder Discussing New Special Needs Program at Mayo Performing Arts Center
The Miracle Project will bring a new curriculum to children with autism spectrum disorders and other special needs: MPAC GM

MORRISTOWN, N.J.– The artistic director of The Miracle Project on Dec. 12 will be providing a free lecture on the program, which is set to be installed at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in January.
Elaine Hall will discuss how her program uses performing arts to provide children on the autism spectrum with tools to build communication, social skills and self-esteem through inclusive theatre,
and how she intends to implement it, said MPAC General Manager Ed Kirchdoerffer.

The lecture is slated to run from 7-8:30 p.m., according to the GM.

"The need for this program is profound, said Hall. "The rate of New Jersey children diagnosed with autism is much higher than the national average. MPAC and The Miracle Project are so aligned in the way we approach the arts that it was such a natural fit.”
