The recent college graduate was starting what loved ones believed to be a promising career in photography.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — The Morris County community is coming together to support the family of a 21-year-old woman who was killed in a car wreck last month.
On Aug. 30, just before 2 a.m., state police were called to Hillside Township in Union County on Interstate 78 on reports of a car crash.
Police said that a Honda SUV struck a Toyota while changing lanes, causing a Ford to crash into the Toyota and overturn.

Now, the Morris County community has offered a hand to assist the family of the young woman who was “taken far too soon.”
A GoFundMe has been launched to help Spina’s family with funeral expenses, memorial costs, and other unexpected fees following the sudden tragedy.
"Genna, a beautifully kind soul, truly uplifted anyone who was blessed to meet her,” the fundraiser’s bio reads. “She was thoughtful, honest, and deeply loving — and gave her whole heart to the people she cared about …Her laugh was infectious, her spirit fierce and authentic, and her love for others endless. She had a rare kind of strength and authenticity that made everyone around her feel safe to be themselves, too. She was enough.”
Having just graduated from college in May, Spina was beginning what loved ones expected to be a promising career in photography. She “poured her creativity and passion into capturing the beauty she saw in people and the world around her,” the fundraiser read.
Spina loved the outdoors, especially hiking and visiting the beach.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hancliffe Home For Funerals, located at 222 Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover.
