Morris County Buildings Are Lit Up Green, Here's Why
The green displays are, in fact, not due to an eagerness for the holiday season.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Schools, businesses, government buildings, and homes across Morris County are displaying bright, green lights, and no, it’s not because their occupants are eager for the holiday season.
This year, Morris County is observing Operation Green Light, an initiative meant to bring awareness to the benefits, services, and resources available to local veterans.
The initiative entails displaying green lights throughout the week leading up to Veterans Day, which is Tuesday.
