Morris County School Closings, Delayed Openings For Snow: Here's List

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — With a winter storm warning issued for Morris County, schools will soon be making decisions about delayed openings and closings, or virtual learning days, for Tuesday.

Some parts of the county could see more than a foot of snow, forecasters said. Snowfall rates of more than 1 inch per hour are expected at times Tuesday morning.

Here is a list to local school districts and their websites to check. It will be updated with school closing information as Patch receives word.

• Morris School District - Closed Tuesday. Superintendent Coffee will happen virtually at 7 p.m.
• West Morris Regional High School District - Closed Tuesday.
• Chester School District - Closed Tuesday.
• School District of the Chathams - Closed Tuesday.
• Parsippany Schools - Closed Tuesday.
• Washington Township Schools - Closed Tuesday.
• Madison Public Schools - Closed Tuesday. School board meeting will be rescheduled to Feb. 27.
• Mendham Township Schools - Closed Tuesday.
• Mendham Borough Schools - Closed Tuesday.
