Morris Election Official Accused of Having Child Porn: Prosecutor

Man's computer at Morristown office confiscated over the weekend, report says.

MORRISTOWN – A paid Morris County employee who is responsible for training poll workers was arrested over the weekend for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Anthony DeSimone, 73, of Morris Township, was arrested over the weekend and charged with child endangerment for knowingly having or viewing photographs, computer programs, or files including child pornography between January 2010 and Sept. 15 of this year, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office announced.

Upon his arrest, DeSimone was also charged with possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana, authorities said. His computer at the Morris County Board of Elections office was also confiscated, according to dailyrecord.com.
