Morristown A Finalist For 'Best Small Town In The Northeast' Contest
You can vote once a day in an online USA Today contest, where readers select their favorite small towns around the U.S.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown has made the list of finalists for a regional competition that celebrates small towns with beautiful scenery, historic charm, and enticing culinary offerings.
A panel of editors selected Morristown as one of 20 finalists in the Northeast, for the "Best Small Towns" competition organized by national publication USA Today. And though travel experts narrowed down the finalists, it will be readers who determine the ultimate list of top towns based on their online votes.
"Let’s celebrate this well-deserved recognition and continue to showcase the charm and beauty of our beloved town," Morristown officials said in a social media post.

The Morristown voting page mentions the town's preserved Revolutionary War sites and "dynamic downtown scene," as well as the exhibits and natural beauty at Morristown National Historic Park.
"The town attracts visitors all year long with its upscale dining, boutique shopping, and several cultural events," USA Today noted.

To cast your vote, click here. You may vote once per day, until noon on April 1. The 10 winning small towns will be announced on Wednesday, April 10.
Other New Jersey towns that made the cut are Lambertville and Cape May. Each municipality in the Small Towns category has a population under 25,000 people.
