Morristown Flood Watch In Place As Hurricane Approaches NJ

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A flood watch for the area will be in place from Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Heavy downpours over the area are to be expected, with rainfall totals averaging up to two and a half inches. Local areas could exceed five inches.

Officials are advising residents to avoid driving through flooded areas, monitor alerts, and be prepared in case of a dire emergency.
