Morristown Halloween Parade, Festivities Set for Ghouls of All Ages
Trunk or Treat and candy guessing contest on tap in town.

If it’s the end of October in Morristown, you can guarantee (hurricanes and unseasonable snow storms not withstanding) there will be Halloween festivities for the entire community.
The 73rd annual Morristown Recreation Halloween Parade is set for Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. at the Morristown High School track, along with other festivities and prizes.
Judges will be looking for the most original, scariest, and best-looking costumes with prizes going to winners in four age categories.

All children will be go home with a candy bag as well, and attendees are invited to stay for Trunk or Treat. A prize for the best decorated car will also be handed out.

Also, beginning Oct. 1 and running through Oct. 30, residents can drop by town hall at 200 South Street on the third floor to guess how many pieces of candy corn are in a jar. Anyone from age five and up can participate and winners will be announced on Nov. 2. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
