Morristown High Girls Tennis Team Celebrates Successful Season
The squad achieved collective and individual distinction this fall.

It's been a winning season for the girls tennis team at Morristown High School.
The squad ended up in a more than respectable third place in the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference. This was no easy feat—the teams who finished the season in first and second place are among the state's overall Top 10 tennis teams, and one, the Chatham High girls tennis team, went down to defeat to Morristown during regular season play.
The Morristown girls achieved other accomplishments as well. The squad placed fifth in the Morris County Championships.
First Singles player Meghan Acampora earned All-Conference designation during her freshman year, and she was the first Morristown player in four years to qualify for the state singles championships, where she made it to the round of 64.
Second and Third singles players Andrea Wright and Nevi Shah also earned acclaim, winning All-Conference honorable mentions.
