Morristown Police Hosting Open House, Continue Recruiting Effort
Citizens interested may speak with police about testing and hiring.

Morristown, N.J. – In furthering its community outreach and recruiting effort for more officers, the Morristown Police Department will hold an open house Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The free event will be held at Morristown Police Headquarters and will provide an opportunity for community members to learn about the work of municipal policing, according to a joint statement by Mayor Tim Dougherty and Chief Peter Demnitz.

Tours of the facility will be held at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m.
