Championship Game Watch Party Set For Morristown Little League

The Famished Frog is hosting a watch party for Friday night's Morristown Area Little League game.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — The Famished Frog will host a seven-screen watch party for Friday’s Morristown Area Little League championship game from 6 to 10 p.m.

Locals are invited to cheer on the boys as they advance to the Metro Region championship final, which will take place in Connecticut.

The restaurant partnered with Glenbrook Brewery to serve $5 Morristown IPAs that will be available for purchase during the game. $2 hot dogs will also be sold.

Jim Finnegan, the owner of the Famished Frog, said the enthusiasm for the Morristown Area Little League has been great for the community.

"It's been the talk of the bar since they got in [the Metro Region championship]," said Finnegan. "It's taken on a life of its own."

Finnegan also said there was a decent crowd present to watch the last game.

The team won 11-1 against the South Shore Little League on Monday in Bristol, CT. They remain undefeated this season, which includes a state champion win that happened back in July.

The team is one win away from playing in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

The game will be streamed live on ESPN at 7 p.m., with their opponent for Friday’s game to be determined.
