Morristown Runners To Race In 2024 Boston Marathon

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown runners will be lining up on Monday along with nearly 30,000 others to tackle one of the most iconic and notable road races — the 128th Boston Marathon on April 15.

The Boston Marathon takes place each year on Patriots' Day — a Massachusetts holiday commemorating the opening battles of the American Revolutionary War.

  • Follow along on the B.A.A. website, which will change April 15 to allow people to track runners on race day.

  • 9:30 a.m.: handcycle and duo participants
  • 9:37 a.m.: professional men

  • 10 a.m.: Wave 1
  • 10:25 a.m.: Wave 2

  • ESPN2 will broadcast the 128th Boston Marathon, scheduled to take place on Monday, April 15, on its flagship channel from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
