Morristown Vying for 'Best Downtown' Crown in All of New Jersey
New Jersey Monthly magazine started with 16 options, now down to two.

These are just some of the amazing features Morristown has to offer, and why the town has made it to the finals in a head-to-head matchup competition for New Jersey’s Best Downtown.
New Jersey Monthly Magazine (full disclosure: the publication’s headquarters are located in Morristown) kicked off a 16-team bracket tournament calling for the state’s best downtown.

After taking down Asbury Park, Red Bank, and then Cape May in the semifinals, Morristown finds itself pitted against Maplewood in the finals.
“Maplewood and Morristown share a number of charming attributes. Both are home to various shops, a Kings Food Market, a performing arts center and a plethora of excellent restaurants,” NJ Monthy wrote.
