MPAC Magic Show, Museum Jazz Showcase Tuesday in Morristown

There are several library events today as well

Head over to MPAC today for the Magic of Anthony Salazar. The show is at 10:30 a.m. and all seats are $12. Rising magic star Anthony Salazar performs fantastic illusions with a dash of comedy, juggling, music and audience participation in this high-energy show guaranteed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, according to MPAC. Over at the Morris Museum's children's theater is the Crabgrass Puppet Theatre's production of the Pirate and the Pea. "Searching for treasure is not easy, especially when the treasure happens to be a princess  who doesn’t even believe you’re a pirate! And how do you prove you’re a real pirate? Well, ya start with a whole lot o’ mattresses!"

Later at the Morris Museum is the Jazz Showcase with 90-minute sets starting at 8 p.m. Today is Jeff Hughes, Noel Kaletsky & the Midiri Brothers. Theatre online ticket purchasing is currently under construction so call their Box office to order tickets, 973.971.3706.

The libraries have a few events today. 

At the Morris County Library there’s a writer’s workshop for 4th – 6th graders from 7 – 8 p.m. today.

Later at the Morris County Library is a book discussion/review of Ron Chernow's "Alexander Hamilton." All are welcome and the event starts at 6:30 p.m.

At the Morristown-Morris Township Library, there’s Pre-School Craft Story Time for the young ones at 10 a.m. today. Come listen to some stories and make a simple craft to take home. All supplies are provided and the event is sponsored by The Friends of the Library.
