New Morristown Breakfast Spot Already Planning NJ Expansion
8 to 10 new Garden State locations of the offbeat breakfast chain are in the works, company officials said.
MORRISTOWN, NJ - Fresh off of a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Morristown, one of New Jersey’s newest grab-and-go breakfast spots is already planning a statewide expansion.
Rossi Capital, the trio of brothers behind the Morris Street location of Florida-based brand Effin Egg in March, has penned a deal for eight to 10 more locations in the state, according to an April release. It's not immediately clear where the locations will be or when they're expected to open.
“I could not be more excited for these guys, we’ve wanted to grow our footprint within the great state of New Jersey for some time and feel we’ve found the ideal partners to do just that!” Effin Egg founder Jeff Martin said in a statement.

At Effin Egg, you can find made-to-order specials from a classic apple smoked bacon egg and cheese to “Roll A Phat One” breakfast burritos to the Rossi brothers’ own “Dirty Jersey,” a Taylor Ham-based sandwich.
Alongside its signature breakfast sandwiches, the restaurant also serves its "Effin Bowls" and "Effin Burritos," which come in a variety of fillings, including chorizo, scrambled eggs, hash browns and black beans. Sweeter offerings include “Slutty Pancakes,” which are three mini rainbow pancakes topped with cream cheese frosting and sprinkles, and Effin Waffles.

Four Effin Egg locations have opened since 2019, with eight other locations in Tennessee, Missouri, Georgia, Illinois, Washington and Texas coming soon. The brand is still “aggressively” growing and looking for “great partners to expand the concept across the country,” according to the release.
“I believe in keeping things stupid simple, fun, and profitable and I want our owners to own multiple locations,” Martin said in a statement.
