New Wine Shop Opening In Morristown

The wine, beer and specialty spirits retailer currently has a location in Montclair.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Amanti Vino, a wine, beer and specialty spirits retailer, will open their first Morristown location on Sept. 8. They currently have a location in Montclair.

The new location will be located at 60A South Street. The grand opening ceremony kicks off at 1 p.m., and will include "ribbon cutting, small bites, celebratory toast, activities for kids and swag bags."

The shops are owned by Sharon Sevrens, a former investment banker who left Wall Street to become a sommelier and parlay her passion for wine into a business. She said that "consumer education" is an important part of Amanti Vino's success.

According to Sevrens, Amanti Vino is the only approved provider of the UK-based Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) courses in New Jersey. As in Montclair, the Morristown store will include a classroom for everything from WSET certification at all levels to proprietary classes designed for all levels of wine lovers.

"We can't wait to expand our audience in Morris County and become a part of the fabric that makes Morristown and the surrounding area so special," says Sevrens.
