MORRISTOWN, NJ — For the sixth year in a row, the publisher Newsweek has ranked Morristown Medical Center among the best hospitals in the world.
Morristown Medical Center had the highest ranking out of New Jersey healthcare systems in the 2024 list of World's Best Hospitals, which included data on 2,400 hospitals across 30 counties. The hospital was ranked No. 47 in the United States. Morristown Medical Center was also listed among Best Hospitals for Infection Prevention and Best Patient Experience in 2024.
Hospital President Trish O'Keefe, PhD, RN, said the honor was a testament "to our resolute physicians, nurses and team members who deliver extraordinary, high-quality care to our patients that is beyond measure" and that staff were incredibly proud.

The score also considers metrics including hygiene and patient/doctor ratio. It also includes a Statista survey on whether hospitals use Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), which are standardized questionnaires that patients complete, and hospitals can use to assess their experience and results.
