NJ TRANSIT Offering Extra Rail, Bus Service for Thanksgiving Weekend Travelers
Kids ride free all weekend, NJ TRANSIT officials said in a news release.

There will be additional NJ TRANSIT buses and trains available this holiday weekend.
NJ TRANSIT said it will offer "early getaway" services on Wednesday to benefit customers leaving working early and assist customers traveling to Newark Airport.
Customers are urged to purchase round trip tickets to avoid lines.

The NJ TRANSIT app is available through the App Store and Google Play, officials said in a news release.
The additional service "makes it easier for customers to unite with family and friends, travel to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade...or get started on holiday shopping," the release states.

On Thursday, more trains and buses will be available during the morning and midday hours, according to NJ TRANSIT.
On Black Friday, "enhanced" bus service will be offered to various shopping centers across the state and additional trains will operate to and from New York, NJ TRANSIT said.
