Anti-Trump 'No Kings' Rally Set For Morristown: What To Know
Here's what to know about the nationwide 'No Kings' anti-Trump protests set for June 14, including the one planned in Morristown.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Another wave of demonstrations opposing the Trump administration is set to take place nationwide next month — including a planned protest in Morristown.
The event is being organized by the newly formed Tom Paine Brigade, which is hosting the protest under the "No Kings" platform. The movement is calling for nationwide, nonviolent demonstrations on June 14.
"On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else," organizers said.

"No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like," organizers added.
This upcoming event follows a national day of protest held on April 5, which targeted President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and federal budget cuts. That demonstration was led by a coalition of different organizations.

More than 1,200 rallies of various sizes took place across the United States on April 5, with some estimates placing total attendance at over one million people.
"A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action," organizers said. "We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events."
Attendees are advised not to bring any weapons to the events, including those that are legally permitted.
