The Olive Tree Music Academy has moved from its location in Morristown to a new home in Morris Plains.
The academy, formerly known as the Olive Tree Music Studio, offers lessons on several instruments.

Now, with three practice rooms booked to capacity, the studio is moving to a first floor location twice the size with a parking lot, at 39 East Hanover Ave. in Morris Plains, between and the .
“It’s a really exciting space,” owner Andy Gruswitz said in a statement from the business. “Our favorite thing about this new spot is what a gift it is to our students. They have been so kind to us in the past year, telling their friends about us, and showing such dedication to their instruments, as evidenced by their awesome performances at our recital at the Hyatt Hotel this past June.”

The new location includes a waiting room with vending machines, foosball, and an indoor playground. The business said that's so siblings of the students of the Olive Tree can have something fun to do during lessons.
“Besides,” Tricia Gruswitz, Andy’s wife and co-owner of the Studio, said in the statement, “we’ve got a four and two year old, and soon to be new born girl who will all enjoy the even more kid friendly waiting room, too.”
