Driver Dies After Slamming Into Stalled Garbage Truck On NJ Highway
The garbage truck was stalled in the right lane before the fatal crash, police said.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Pennsylvania man is dead following a crash on I-80 East in Morris County, according to officials.
On Friday, around 5:30 a.m., state police responded to reports of a car crash near milepost 31.3 in Roxbury Township.
Police found that a Toyota sedan driven by Michael Murphy, 41, of Blakeslee, had slammed into the back of a garbage truck that was stalled in the right lane, authorities said.

Murphy was killed as a result of the crash, and the driver of the garbage truck sustained "minor injuries."
Roxbury Township police said that the crash caused serious delays in the area and heavy traffic on Friday morning.
