Paleo Lifestyle Presentation on Thursday in Morristown

There are also a few family-friendly events today at the libraries

Ever heard of the Paleo lifestyle? Here's your chance. Today at 6:30 p.m. at Smith Chiropractic & Wellness Center, 1 Lackawanna Place, Morristown, there will be a fun and informative presentation on the Paleo lifestyle.

"You will leave with a full understanding of Paleo and how it can positively effect your body by helping you sleep better, allowing your body to sustain more energy, lose weight easily, and overall looking and feeling the 100 percent," according to the Patch Event Listing. "The Paleo lifestyle is based on biological, physiological, and anthropological science. It focuses on the way your body is genetically designed to eat- clean protein, vegetables, fruit, nuts, berries, and seeds. It avoids foods your body is not designed to eat (inflammatory!) gluten, dairy, grains, and processed foods. It’s about fresh, real, natural, quality food that you can hunt and gather on your own."
