Free Parking In Morristown For Overnight During Winter Storm

Due to an impending winter storm, three Morristown parking garages will be open for free beginning at 6 p.m.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown residents can take advantage of overnight free parking in three Morristown municipal garages during tonight's impending winter storm.

According to the announcement, the Dalton Garage at Cattano Avenue, the DeHart Street Parking Garage, and the Ann – Bank Street Garage will all be open to the public beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27.

The Morristown Parking Authority said that all cars will need to be moved by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

To obtain a parking fee waiver, motorists must present their parking ticket and driver's license as proof of residency.

According to the announcement, non-residents and late movers may be charged fees.

The National Weather Service predicted three to seven inches of snow overnight as of Monday afternoon. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the period between 5 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. Tuesday.
