Parsippany Lacrosse Phoenix Become Champions

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Parsippany Lacrosse Phoenix are now champions. The boys 7/8 team won the North Jersey Junior Lacrosse League's Tier A Championship on Saturday.

"Our program is only eight years old and it is the fastest any program has been able to produce an NJJLL champion," said Mark Ucab, one of the coaches.

They became only the second Parsippany team to have qualified for the tournament and the first to host and win a playoff game — let alone a championship — Ucab said.
