Parsippany Taxpayers Given Grace Period For 3rd Quarter Payments
Thanks to the state approving the 2025 tax rate later than usual, Parsippany taxpayers are getting a deadline extension.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Taxpayers have a bit more time to pay their third-quarter tax bills this summer, according to township officials.
Third-quarter tax payments were initially due on Aug. 1, but the deadline has been extended.
Because the State of New Jersey approved the 2025 tax rate later than usual on July 18, the Morris County Board of Taxation could not certify the rate until after this date.

In an effort to assist residents, the township made the new due date for third-quarter tax payments Aug. 29.
However, any payment made after Aug. 29 will accrue interest from the initial Aug. 1 deadline.
