Question: Who is Going to Win the World Series?

We'll get this out of the way first. Around here, we're Phillies fans. Get your high-fives and/or boos and hisses out of your system. We can wait.

On Thursday night, the New York Yankees, in Game 5 of the American League Division Series, lost 3-2 to the Detroit Tigers, and were eliminated from the playoffs. As of this writing, our Philadelphia Phillies are about to face their own Game 5, in the National League Division Series, against the scrappy St. Louis Cardinals. Winner takes all.

Elsewhere in the NL, the Arizona Diamondbacks have knotted up their series against the Milwaulkee Brewers, after being down two games to none. And, the Texas Rangers have already taken their division series, and will play the Tigers in the ALCS starting Saturday.

Sports can be a pretty passionate subject of contention, especially in Morristown's finest adult beverage establishments. Which brings us to our "Question of the Day:" Who do you think is going to win the World Series (as of Friday, Oct. 7)? Vote in our poll and chime in below.
