QuickChek Opens Newest Store, Gas Station In Morris County

EAST HANOVER, NJ — QuickChek opened its newest 5,869-square-foot store with a gas station this past month off of Route 10 East in Morris County.

The store opened at 235 Route 10 East in East Hanover on Tuesday, Aug. 15 and serves as the company’s first location in East Hanover.

The new store features a "Fresh to Go" interior design, quick service food, lottery ticket sales, grab-and-go market items and essential household products like milk, juice and eggs.

More than half of the new store is devoted to freshly prepared, and made-to-order food and beverages, such as QuickChek's guaranteed fresh brewed hot and iced coffees.

If the hot weather has you thinking cool thoughts and longing for fall, QuickChek's Pumpkin Spice coffee, available hot or iced, is also back for a limited time, officials said.

To celebrate the grand opening, QuickChek is giving away one free cup of coffee per customer, per day, for seven days to QuickChek Rewards members at the East Hanover store starting Tuesday, Aug. 15.

The new East Hanover location is open 24 hours a day, allowing customers to create made-to-order all-day breakfast items and personalize their fresh QuickChek subs, wraps, and salads.

The store also has the modern look of QuickChek, with a white exterior and a green tower with the familiar green "Q."

Amenities include no-fee ATMs that provide consumers with additional added value, 16 fueling positions, indoor seating for 10 people, and outdoor seating for 16. The new location also has plenty of parking, with 61 spaces available, as well as two oversized spaces for vehicles towing trailers.

The East Hanover location will generate 35-45 new local jobs, including eight management positions. More than 200 new local jobs have been created as a result of the five new stores.

Each new QuickChek generates approximately $1 million in tax revenue, officials said.

East Hanover residents who join QuickChek Rewards for the first time will also receive up to four weeks of special offers:

• Week 1 includes a free any-size coffee or fountain drink
• Week 2 includes a $1 breakfast sandwich
• Week 3 includes a 50 percent discount on any 6-inch sub
• Week 4 includes a 50 percent discount on any fresh snack item

QuickChek is committed to giving back to the communities it serves, so a portion of its store opening proceeds will be donated to local Boys & Girls Clubs to help Fuel Great Futures for local kids throughout the region.

QuickChek currently operates 165 stores, including 102 gas stations, throughout New Jersey, the Hudson Valley and Long Island.
