Rescue Pets Touch Down In Morris Co., Looking For Love On Valentine's Day
Looking for a "purrfect" or "pawsome" companion? More than 80 cats and dogs were flown in from New Orleans to find homes on the East Coast.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Dozens of shelter pets on a flight from New Orleans touched down at Morristown Airport on Wednesday, in search of a loving home on the East Coast.
The Valentine's Day-themed flight included more than 60 dogs and around 15 cats who will eventually be put up for adoption, according to the charity that organized the flight. Some of the animals will go to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison, while others will be taken to organizations in Pennsylvania and New York.
Greater Good Charities organizes the transport of at-risk and vulnerable shelter pets through the Good Flights program, where they can find a new loving home.

The other shelters who are taking in animals include Char-Wills German Shepherd Rescue in eastern Pennsylvania, and Animal Haven in New York City.
